Windows Server Not filtered correctly by Views

In some rare instance we have found that Windows Servers will not get picked up by the Views that filter for Windows Server Editions.

The reason for this is because these servers were built with a "Server Evaluation" image and the machines was not correctly upgraded when they were activated. In this scenario the Views will not pick up these type of servers because the OS Version database view in the VSA does not have the require "Server" keyword in it, eg;

x64 Edition  Build 17763

instead of

Server Standard x64 Edition  Build 17763

To identify these type of machines that were built with an Eval image the MSP Builder Windows_Edition custom field can be used and you can use and the following DISM command to confirm it;
DISM /online /Get-CurrentEdition

The following DISM command can be used to find out what editions the build can be upgraded to ;
DISM /online /Get-TargetEditions

To resolve this issue, you can try and upgrade the machine or rebuild it with the correct install image
DISM /Online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:[Insert correct License here!] /AcceptEula
